We encourage you (and your child) to ask questions and share your thoughts and concerns because we know from experience that this results in an optimum dental experience for both of you. We've developed an office culture of trust and understanding that puts your child first, and we're confident you'll sense this immediately. We bring to our practice a nurturing touch.

We encourage you to accompany your child back for the initial dental visit. However, we request that you remain in the reception area during dental treatment (fillings, etc.) We get the best results when we share a true partnership with both child and parent.

Our treatment options are based on your child's comfort and needs. The dentist offers nitrous oxide, as well as conscious sedation when necessary. IV sedation is also available on a case-by-case basis and is administered by a board-certified dental anesthesiologist. Dr. Rachel will be happy to discuss these options with you.

Pediatric dentistry is a specialty, and a pediatric dentist has an extra two years of specialized training after dental school. A pediatric dentist is focused on and committed to dental care for children from infancy through the teenage years including those with special healthcare needs. The very young, pre-teens and teenagers all require unique approaches in dealing with their behavior, guiding their dental growth and development, and helping them avoid future dental problems. The pediatric dentist is specifically qualified to meet these needs. Here are some of the services that we provide.
